We are excited to offer our Middle School Summer Band Camp again this year. This is a fantastic way for your student to keep playing after the school year wraps up in a fun and relaxed environment! Summer Band combines 7th and 8th grade students who will have the opportunity to play some great music with their friends. If your student plans to attend Summer School, they can still play in Summer Band! We have altered the format of Summer Band this year. Students will rehearse with members of the GV band staff over the course of one week in order to prepare for an extended clinic on Saturday with Dr. Joe Parisi, associate director of bands at UMKC. The week will wrap up with a concert where students will show what they've accomplished over the week.
